Columns were used to create semi-transparent garden rooms; the spatial definition is unaffected.

Urban garden

The design process involved discussions with Maarten and Petra about the concept and the use of the garden. The design contains subtle height differences and the space has been divided in a way that the entire garden becomes usable space. By placing columns, semi-transparent garden rooms were created that do not affect the spatial definition. On the contrary: the spaces appear larger and are perceived differently every time.
